Whether it’s providing resources, discounting services, or donating towards our projects, your business can make a major impact by partnering with our mission.

This partnership not only benefits our project, but it also differentiates yourself in the marketplace.

Tools & Resources

Quality tools and materials are the difference between an adequate job done and a quality work that will stand the test of time. Businesses that offer discounted or donated tools and materials elevate our projects and allow us to serve the community well.

  • Residential Construction (drywall, lumber, trim, plywood, etc.)
  • Windows and doors (new or gently used)

  • Plumbing
  • Hot water heaters (new or gently used, 2-3 years old)
  • Boilers and Furnaces (new or gently used, 4-5 years old)
  • Appliances (new or gently used)
  • Kitchen

Skilled Services

When we encounter tasks that are outside our ability to handle with volunteers, we rely on our network of trades professionals to get the job done well. These skilled tradesmen often offer discounted or donated services to our projects. Releasing your employees to serve a few hours on our sites allows us to accelerate the building process and offer more services.

Financial Donation

Like any organization, it takes funds to keep our mission going: project materials, volunteer tools, operating expenses, vehicle maintenance, and professional services. Your financial support keeps our mission alive and enables us to grow, making a visible impact in the community that will last for generations.

Operations: Contribute towards keeping us organized.
Projects: Help us complete more projects.
Staff Support: Keep our team moving forward.
Tools & Resources: Help us stay equipped.
Sponsor Students: Allow us to train the next generation.
Program Expansion: Support the growth of our Workmanship Program

Industry partners that make it all happen

"The Servant’s Heart approach to mentoring, coaching, and educating young people in the trades is directly impacting a critical need for our community on multiple fronts. [...] The skills taught not only provide opportunities for meaningful employment, but empower young people with knowledge, confidence, and values that will benefit them throughout their lifetime."

Matt Kuiken

Vice President of Operations at Kuiken Brothers Company Inc.

"My involvement with the Welding course started at the beginning in the planning phase. I helped write the curriculum for the course and assisted John with getting all of the tools, supplies and support he needed in order to make this program happen. My company, Richards Industries, will continue to provide instructors for this course for as long as it is needed."

Ben Osborne

Welding Instructor | Director of Operations, Richards Industries

"We know the resources that we donate are going to an organization that helps to transform not only physical buildings, but more importantly also transforms people’s lives. Whether it’s the staff and volunteers working for Servant’s Heart, the members of the churches and nonprofits that are having work done or the people in the communities served by those churches and nonprofits the monies and materials that we donate help to reach many people in a transformative way."

Tim Westra

Wayne Tile Co.

"Last semester we (at Richards Industries) hired one of the welding students, and this semester we have hired another. I am very passionate about this career field and will always look for ways to give back to the career field as a whole by supporting students who have an interest in welding/steel work. My hope for the future and future programs is that we can fill the course with local students and get them jobs in the local area to make Paterson a better place to work and live."
